This isn’t a guide nor a recommended itinerary for London, but rather just the list of places I’ve personally been in the city during my 3-day stay in January 2022!
Day 1 | Saturday, January 22, 2022
Paddington – Beany Green, Paddington Bear
Meeting up with my friend, Dhara, a local Londoner at Beany Green, over a cup of coffee and a glass of smoothie! Paddington is known for this cute character, the Paddington Bear.
Soho – Liberty London, Carnaby, Gelupo
Exploring this area to enjoy window shopping as a well as a cup of delicious gelato!
Covent Garden – The Apple Market, Banana Warehouse
Super vibrant area where you can find markets, food, etc.
Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown, Trafalgar Square
Just passing through! These are are some of the London’s famous spots.
Day 2 | Sunday, January 23, 2022
Harrods
An interesting experience, checking out everything branded (mostly high-end/luxury) – from clothes, bags, to furniture!
Westminster – Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, London Eye + London Bridge
It was my first time in London, so I just gotta check out these places. Honestly, not my London highlights at all. Next time I don’t think I would bother. However, I think these landmarks would look much prettier during the night, though, when they’re surrounded by bright London lights.
Kings Cross Station – The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9¾
Definitely not leaving London without visiting this one! Again, since it was my first time in London, so I just had to. I liked it, but maybe I don’t need to go back again next time. I’ve actually seen better places that also sell Harry Potter merchandise, e.g. Science Fiction Bokhandeln in Stockholm, Sweden; Universal Studios Osaka in Japan.

Notting Hill & Portobello Market
I thought about this area, obviously because of that movie – Notting Hill. It was okay. I guess on some other days the local market would be a lot busier than this…
