Every November 1st, Lithuanians celebrate what they call โ€œVฤ—linฤ—sโ€ a.k.a. the Day of the Souls (some refer it as All Saintsโ€™ Day as well). Itโ€™s a national holiday in the country where people visit cemeteries to honor the souls of their deceased family members or relatives. They lit beautiful candles around the graves and decorate the tombs with fresh flowers. These photos were taken at Marijampolฤ— old cemetery - the ambience was really pretty and peaceful ๐Ÿ˜‡โœ๏ธ #VisitLithuania ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น

Today marks the end of the hot air balloon flying season in Lithuania! For my birthday last month, @edvinukas surprised me with a ticket to fly over Trakai with @hotairlines ๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿคฉ It was such an overwhelming first time experience and I want to recommend anyone coming to Lithuania to take this flight to see and enjoy the beauty of this country from up above! โ›…๏ธ The flying season will start again on April 15th next year. In the meantime, check out my vlog for this hot air balloon flight (the linkโ€™s on my bio) ๐ŸŽฅ! PS: The ring Iโ€™m wearing is my custom triple birthstone ring with yellow sapphire, green tourmaline, and red garnet (the colors symbolize Lithuanian flag ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡น!) made by @gardensofthesun ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒž
